Dr. Brockman
received his
undergraduate
degree from
Texas Christian
University
and his medical
degree from
the University
of Texas Medical
School in Houston. He performed his internship in medicine at Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, and completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania’s Scheie Eye Institute. He is a Clinical Assistant Processor in Ophthalmology at the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. Dr. Brockman is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology as well as the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He
is a member
of the Tulsa
Surgical Society
and is active
in the Tulsa
County Medical
Society and
the Oklahoma
State Medical
Association.
Dr. Brockman has practiced in Tulsa since 1986. “I have been proud to maintain the tradition of medical excellence in a practice first established over 50 years ago.” Although raised and educated outside Oklahoma, Dr. Brockman adopted the Sooner State years ago. His wife is a native Tulsan who has served as President of both the Tulsa County and Oklahoma State Medical Alliances.

Most surgeries are performed at the Eye Surgery Center of Tulsa. This modern center is dedicated to eye surgery alone and is committed to excellence as well as your safety and convenience.
Modern cataract surgery is comfortably performed with relaxation medicine and local anesthesia. No stitches are required and this allows you to quickly return to your regular activities. Intraocular lenses are used to focus your vision and this technology is constantly improving. Current advances include lenses that will correct astigmatism and lenses that will focus for distance and near. Our staff will be happy to discuss the latest advances during your visit.
